Salon Trainer operates the training platform at salon-trainer.vercel.app and this marketing site. For any privacy questions, contact us at syin31437@gmail.com.
02 · What We Collect
We only collect data you actively provide:
- Contact form — your name, email address, and message
- House Questionnaire — house name, business details, operational answers, and your contact details
- Training app — house name, stylist names, passwords (stored as SHA-256 hashes, never plaintext), training progress, and recipe content you create
We do not use cookies, analytics trackers, or advertising pixels. We do not collect IP addresses or device fingerprints.
03 · How We Use Your Data
- To respond to your contact form messages
- To review your questionnaire and help prepare training material for your house
- To operate and sync your house's training data within the Salon Trainer app
We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes.
04 · Where Your Data Is Stored & Who Touches It
We use a few third-party processors to deliver Salon Trainer. They handle your data on our behalf — they don't sell it.
- Supabase — database hosting (EU West, Ireland / eu-west-1)
- Anthropic — AI generation of your house manual from your questionnaire answers
- FormSubmit — relays contact-form emails to our inbox; does not retain them
- Vercel — hosts this marketing site and the training app
05 · How Long We Keep It
We keep your data for as long as your house is active. If you stop using the platform and ask for deletion, we will remove your data within 30 days.
06 · Your Rights
Under GDPR and UK data protection law, you have the right to:
- Access the data we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten")
- Object to how we process your data
- Receive a copy of your data in a portable format
